Review: Youth Without God

Youth Without God Youth Without God by Ödön von Horváth
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Wonderful story about racism guilt truth and the results of the actions that we do.
It is a very short book, unfortunately, but it gets to show a very dark vision of guilt that may hit the reader hard. Highly recommended.

Review: Strange News from Another Star

Strange News from Another Star Strange News from Another Star by Hermann Hesse
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is beautiful and it shows many profound topics for being such a short story.
It is a really interesting book with a lot to think about regardless of being a fairy tale. Hermann Hesse surely knows how to catch the reader with a so childlike, though serious book.

Review: La elegancia del erizo

La elegancia del erizo La elegancia del erizo by Muriel Barbery
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book.
It gives you so many topics to discuss and ponder about.
The main characters are in my opinion really interesting as they both are like hedgehogs who hide their real self, within a body full of spikes as the title suggests.
It walks through a wide variety of topics, and the author's background is clearly notisable. The language that it uses and the ways she expresses the topics is quite enjoyable.
It is a book that is worth reading.
