Review: The Bicentennial Man and Other Stories

The Bicentennial Man and Other Stories The Bicentennial Man and Other Stories by Isaac Asimov
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well, first of all, I must say that, quite frankly, robots are not my favourite thing. But behind the stories dwell some ideas that are, somehow, intriguing. The social facts, that he presents in some of his robots, add some sort of different feeling to it. I won't give it more than three stars, because sometimes it had, in some kind of way, that sensation of: "Remind me, what am I reading?"
Anyhow, The bicentennial Man was an interesting and, maybe, a cute story if we don't consider some of the concepts that Asimov introduces with this Short story.

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Muy lindos cuentos. Sinceramente, bastante entretenidos. Corto, simple y divertido.

Review: Hell's Hollow

Hell's Hollow Hell's Hollow by Travis McBee
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

It is a cool book, It's not the most original of stories, but it's definitely enjoyable. I started reading it and hooked me wanting to know what was coming next, and it's a short one so it should be a really fast read.

Review: The Color of Magic

The Color of Magic The Color of Magic by Terry Pratchett
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wonderful. Simply wonderful. I understand the fact that is not the best book in the Discworld´s series, but for me as a linguist reading seeing all the games that terry plays on language is spectacular. From inn-sewer-ants-polly-sea to Lio!rt featuring a click sound, it's a wonderful way of playing with language.

Review: The Ocean at the End of the Lane

The Ocean at the End of the Lane The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book... This book was a journey so enjoyable, that I didn't want it to end. A book so beautiful, so full of magic and psychology, and even a little childish, full of twists and astonishment; definitely a must read. I gave it 5 out of 5 starts because I cannot give it more. Completely fascinating.
