Review: 1984

19841984 by George Orwell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wonderful book, absolutely loved it. A vast amount of twists. A really strong story and point of view, about modern society and how we live (or think we live). This is definitely a must read for every person out there, and all those who claim to be part of any political side and a party member. The way Orwell strikes our perception of society simply majestic, and brave I would say.

Review: Linguistics

Linguistics (Penguin Language & Linguistics)Linguistics by David Crystal
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

The version I've read was, in fact, really short. This book has some interesting point of views yes, but I wanted to see more. Nevertheless is a good pocket book. I'd check it again probably.

Review: Rushed

RushedRushed by Brian Harmon
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is simply so, so, random. The story is well OK, nothing really original, you probably have read similar stuff but, well told. Nonetheless, it's hilarious, I laughed many time with how stupid some reactions were, some characters and certain phrases. It's a rather cool book really entertaining, if you are up to something randomly enjoyable. Also I read it on Audio book so, it's randomness was even better with the narrator's voice playing around with the characters.
